Our firm first opened in the 1960s as David Klein CPA, specializing in the food industry. Originally located in Manhattan, the firm was relocated to Long Island in the late 1970s. After Graduating Magna Cum Laude from Dowling College in 1982, Carolyn Slawski joined the firm as a staff accountant and obtained her CPA license shortly after. She and David worked side by side until 1990 when David Klein passed away. Today Carolyn continues to be the sole owner. The staff has since grown to include three full-time accountants and one per diem accountant. A great number of the firm’s existing personal and business clients have been with the firm since Carolyn first started, and we now gladly service many generations of these original clients. We take great pride in the relationships we form with our clients and the quality of service we provide them.
