Jet Income Tax was founded in 1969 by Allan Herzlich in the Rochdale Village section ofJamaica, Queens. This was aptly named due to the proximity to JFK Airport. After 30 years, the firm relocated to Springfield Gardens, Queens where he continued to grow his practice for the next 22 years.

Allan had a knack for accounting. He was gifted in calculating numbers, which made him extremely popular in the community. His firm quickly grew to assisting over 1,000 clients in the Jamaica, Springfield Gardens and Laurelton area, as well as the surrounding boroughs, Long Island, and out of state. He was trusted by many and the same business motto continues on through his successor, Marisa Louis.
